Who doesn’t love freebies? Companies know free stuff attracts customers.
With all of the crazy holidays we’ve invented (National Corn Dog Day, really?), you can pick just about any date of the year, and there will be something free you can snag.
While you can probably get something free every day, there are some days where DOZENS of companies will offer free deals.
If you know when these days are, you can secure a serious haul of free stuff.
Veteran’s Day
Serving and protecting our country is a noble job, and a lot of companies want to reward those willing to do so.
Veteran’s Day is one of the most popular days for getting free stuff. If you’re currently serving in the military or you did in the past, then you should take advantage of all the free goodies.
Veteran’s can get free stuff from just about every industry, everything from meals to tires. This is one of the biggest days for free deals, and the list gets bigger every year.
For the vast majority of deals, you will need to show your military I.D.
Black Friday
Black Friday is known for their crazy sales (and for their crazy crowds), but they also give away a lot of things.
Some companies are looking for more ways to entice customers to show up in their pajamas before the suns comes up.
Major retailers like Belk reward the first herd of customers with a chance to win gift cards. Other companies are giving away t-shirts, trinkets, and coupons. Some companies are giving out Christmas ornaments, and others are handing out free coffee.
If you want to get these free gifts, you’ll need to get up early. Most of the Black Friday deals are “first come, first serve.”
You know what they say, the early bird wins the gift card.
National Coffee Day (September 29)
Sure, you can call it a made up holiday, but it gets you free coffee — so who cares?
It probably doesn’t take a marketing genius to figure this one out. Create a day celebrating coffee and then give out free cups of coffee.
More companies are joining celebrating this day. A lot of donut shops, fast food joints, and gas stations are giving away small cups of coffee. More than likely, there are enough places around you to get enough Joe to last you for months.
Some places like Tim Horton’s are even extending National Coffee Day to a whole week! Download the app, and you’ll enjoy a free hot (or cold) cup of coffee.
Tax Day
Yes, even on one of the worst days of there year, there is still some silver lining.
If you’re feeling down in the dumps about the dreaded tax day, there are PLENTY of free things to lift your spirits.
You can grab anything from a free cookie from the Great American Cookies, free burgers from Sonic, all the way to free paper shredding from office supply stores, like Staples or Office Max.
After you’ve finally finished your taxes and you can finally breathe, you can go hit the town and enjoy all of the free food.
Halloween
Halloween isn’t just for ghosts and goblins, it’s also for people wanting free stuff.
If you wear a costume, you can get a free donut from Krispy Kreme and a free burrito from Chipotle.
If you have kids, Halloween is the time of year where you can rack up. You can take your little ones to Chuck E. Cheese’s dressed in a costume and get free tickets. If you’re not full of pizza after that, Cici’s will give you buffet was well.
With all of the candy and treats going around, Halloween is the perfect time to take advantage of all the free deals out there. Dress your kids up as their favorite and then take them to ever restaurant
Free Stuff All Year Round
These are only a couple of the major “freebie” days.
If you’re looking to save some cash and enjoy some free food and goodies, get yourself a giant calendar and put all of the deals down.
When it comes to major “freebie holidays” you could get every single meal for free if you plan out your day.
One important note, before you try to get anything free, always call your location store or franchise. For some of these companies, each location has different rules or restrictions on their free deals.
